Corporate Finance & Management Advice
Historically one of Perrys biggest strengths
has been the provision of management advice. The number and
diversity of different companies that we advise is such that
we are able to help with a huge variety of business matters,
extending way beyond normal accountancy and tax work. This
can be particularly relevant for those businesses that are
too small to be able to afford a full time in house finance
director. The firm’s individual consultants are encouraged
to firmly “put their necks on the block” when
giving clients advice. We feel strongly that clients do not
want a range of “wishy washy” options. They want
hard hitting advice and informative opinions. Advice in these
areas is normally highly financially rewarding for our clients.
Each day thousands of pounds is saved as a result of advice
followed.
Some of the most important decisions that
will be taken by a businessman relates to selling their business,
buying a business or raising finance. Initial queries are
often handled by individual consultants in the firm but we
do have a separate Corporate Finance specialist who can have
a major input in assisting in these areas. Whilst the sometimes
used saying “you only sell your business once”
is not necessarily quite true, it is certainly an important
event that one gets wrong at ones peril! We are able to advise
in all such areas and assist in structuring transactions,
preparing draft Heads of Agreement and liasing with Solicitors.
We are usually able to advise on interest rates and are frequently
able to source funding. We can also assist in trying to obtain
suitable buyers for businesses and suitable businesses to
buy.
